How is this possible?

Okay, 98% of DNA between man and chimpanzees are identical or shared.

That, however, proves very little, since all life on Earth, from bacteria to humans, share at least 25 percent of their DNA.



Okay, I get that. All cellular life has a large component of identical features.

But explain this to me:

". . . humans and nematode worms share 75 percent of their DNA. . ."



Doesn't that strike you as just plain weird?
