Hug a mosquito today

Sacramento is a breeding ground (Sac Bee) for West Nile virus:

No county in the state has more confirmed cases.

As of Tuesday, the state had 118 confirmed cases in 47 of the 58 counties. Statewide, three people have died from the virus.

But that's not high enough for a number of people. Some folks prefer mosquitos to people by not wanting the county to spray to kill them.

Late in the afternoon, a group of citizens concerned about health hazards to animals and people tried to stop the spraying by going to federal court, but U.S. District Judge Lawrence K. Karlton turned down their request for a temporary restraining order.

The hysterical nincompoops will almost all live into their eighties but are certain this stuff will kill them tomorrow.
