Christianity just keeps getting better and better

The Churchwide Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America improves their hymnbook and worship immeasurably:

It will offer alternatives such as "Holy Eternal Majesty, Holy Incarnate Word, Holy Abiding Spirit" for the male-dominated Trinitarian image of "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" in prayers during Sunday services.

Isn't that special?

Let's see, at some Catholic churches it's been The Creator, The Redeemer, and The Spirit of Truth (if I recall correctly).

Yes, the Lutherans have us beat with their new terms. What could compete with the nobility and exaltation of the language they have chosen to represent that vague lunminosity of sorts that might animate the universe and all the stuff we notice about us?

I am on my knees in obeisance already to the Holy Eternal Majesty. I just can't get enough prayer time in with Sir Holy Timeless Regnum. I simply love my relationship with Sacred King Book and the Always Hanging Around Effervescence.
