Sacramento Patriotic Rally

Today and evening, a rally was held at the California Dept. Of Justice to protest the vile "art" show that was put into a public building by our Attorney General in the cafeteria.

I went to the rally at about 6:00 pm. Sad to say, it wasn't much of a rally, but according to Mark Williams on his radio talk show (KFBK 1530), the anti-American protestors protesting the Patriotic protesters appeared without a permit and were allowed to disrupt the legal assembly and the police did not disperse them.

One of the many patriotic artworks on display on the "good" side.

The Good Side

People got a bit heated on the "good side" in response to the sick things the "bad" side chanted and swore about, and then this wonderful thing occurred. A flag on the "bad" side was raised.

Yup. A Communist flag. Typical, right? But no. That flag was raised by a Protest Warrior from San Francisco. The police went in among the "pacifists" and hauled him out since the "pacifists" wanted to attack him for exposing them in such a manner. Here's the fellow:

Furthermore the guy was hilarious. He had a very loud voice which carried well, and he ridiculed and mocked the unAmericans in a way that was withering.

"YOU'RE IRRELEVENT!"
"NOBODY CARES!"
"GET A JOB!"
"YOU lOST AND NO ONE CARES!"
"BLAH BLAH BLAH BUSH! BLAH BLAH BLAH OIL! BLAH BLAH BLAH WAR! BLAH BLAH BLAH SOLDIERS!"

It was very funny, and oh boy, the unAmericans were hot about that. He got under their skin by having them laughed at. Nor did they like it when someone (me) would dance to their silly chants.

But the most wonderful thing was this man below who arrived with a WW2 Army Ambulance with his little old wife and sat outside.

You know, there's something sad, though, when we can hardly get fifty people at one time to protest the vile acts of our Attorney General and the sick people who put on a hateful "art" show of anti-Americanism from lawyers. It's not as if we don't have enough reasons to hate lawyers.

We just don't get as angry in numbers as the nutballs and their rent-a-mob mentality.

News Ten in Sacramento has a pretty fair video report on the event here.

Addendum

I had thought that I would take my new handy dandy digital audio recorder to interview people on both sides and collect quotes for an article, but once I was there, I didn't want to talk to the unAmericans and hear their loony nonsense and insane ravings. I want to take a bath when I have to encounter such demonicly unhinged people.

And as for interviewing people on the patriot side, well, I already knew what they thought, and it would have been weird to act like a reporter rather than just another guy among them.

So I'm a bad reporter about things that I can't get excited about "covering", I guess. Hope you liked this photoblog, though.
