Thursday, July 28, 2005 It's a start American Muslims issue fatwa against terrorism, urging Muslims to help authorities. Is it possible for Islam to actually "spiritualize" all the viciousness which is in the Koran, the Hadith, and the other books of Islam? I don't know. It's never been done, but people living in a prosperous society where they are making money and enjoying life aren't eager to become fanatical and violent ascetics. Even so, that really means that the only acceptable Islam (to non-believers)is a wishy washy Islam. It's true of Christianity where devout Catholics don't have much respect for the cafeteria variety and the Christmas and Easter Christians; and it is the serious and devout Christians whom atheists, secularists, socialist, and leftist Christians despise and disparage.
