Thursday, May 26, 2005 Spoilsports One of the silliest status games has just been knocked out of the ring. Who's going to pay $30,000 or so to climb Mt. Everest now when you can ride a helicopter up to the top? Helicopters used to be incapable of flying at the altitude of Mt. Everest's apex because of the thinner air.
