Language Leads

Jung said that fantasy is simply a rehearsal for reality. For a number of years now I have been saying that violent rhetoric eventually leads to violent action.

We've seen some of that with the attacks on conservative speakers or merely those the Left hates (Bill Gates, Ralph Nadar got pied). So-called "peace" activists attack their critics with fists, kicks, and spit.

And the election last year unleashed a lot of shootings at republican headquarters in various towns and steady accounts of vandalism.

Do you think this kind of thing will help? (via JunkYardBlog)

Of course, more and more of the Left and the Dems call for assassination of Bush among others. I don't think we'll see this hate speech tone down anytime soon. If it can't get worse, you know where it then has to go. Into action.

Update.

They've changed the Kill a Republican to something else at the link above. It's not much of an improvement in manners.
