Tuesday, April 19, 2005 Ratzinger! So much for the prophecy that John Paul II would be the last pope and the next would would usher in the end of the Church. Ratzinger is more died in the wool Catholic than anybody. (You just can't trust any of that St. Malachi, Nostrodamus, Visions of Fatima stuff - makes for good TV though.) As I predicted this will send howls and wails through the ranks of so-called dissenting Catholics. What I've read of Pope Benedict XVI I like.
