Friday, April 08, 2005 Deja Vu all over again (This story has hit bloggerdom today. I tried to post it yesterday but it didn't happen.) An incredible story in the wake of Terri Schiavo’s killing - a woman being starved and dehydrated despite the fact that: Mae's Living Will provides that nutrition and hydration are to be withheld only if she is comatose or vegetative. Mae is in neither condition. Neither is her condition terminal. Moreover, her guardian is her granddaughter who claimed a power of attorney she did not have, is the sole beneficiary of the will.
