Thursday, August 26, 2004 Corrupting terms Last night I was watching the Olympics on NBC with one eye while reading a novel (Gone For Soldiers). A female reporter (Kelly O'Donnell?) was recapping the first gold medal win by an Israeli athlete and completing a list of all Israeli medal winners until she came to mention Munich in 1972. She then explained that Israeli athletes had been killed and taken hostage by "Palestinian guerillas." Guerillas? Terrorist thugs and murders are now guerillas? Vermin like Arafat and his cronies are elevated to the status of freedom fighters and guerillas? Yes, on NBC and the major media they are. Disgusting.
