Fine Contemporary Music

I love guitar music, especially acoustic nylon and steel string. (I are one, as they say.) But if you like good music programs featuring music you will never hear on the radio or elsewhere, but is fine and superb with occasional interviews, Bob Evans is your man.

Not only is he an award winning guitarist (Fingerstyle Champion), but he runs a weekly radio program in Canada which streams on the internet here.

Six Strings and a Million Possibilities (scroll down) offers a fine variety of guitar music. Mostly acoustic, but mixing in electric here and there.

Bob also does the finest instrumental arrangements of Beatles tunes I've ever heard. Scroll for his CD's and listen to his samples. I think you'll be amazed at the beauty of his work, both original and covers.

He features really fine stuff on his show. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You can listen while doing something else like blogging or jigsaw puzzles here.
