Friday, June 25, 2004 Future industries Instapundit is big promoter of the belief of great things to come from nanotechnology, but he also blogged today on Burt Rutan's successful space venture. It is possible (likely) that these new technologies (and the resurrection of an older one - rocket science) will transform the world as much as the computer chip has. I do wonder, though, whether space travel can contribute much to our economy unless we can find important uses for the Moon, and valueable resources there and elsewhere on other planets or asteroids.
