Fox in the Hen House?

If only liberals could actually listen to themselves and measure the truth against their assertions.

The editor of the LA Times is complaining about psuedo-journalists. I had thought it would be about the blogosphere challenging traditional organs, but it was about Fox News upsetting the applecart of "legitimate" journalists like we see in the NY Times, LA Times, and every other big city newspaper or major TV network.

"All over the country there are offices that look like newsrooms and there are people in those offices that look for all the world just like journalists, but they are not practicing journalism," he said. "They regard the audience with a cold cynicism. They are practicing something I call a pseudo-journalism, and they view their audience as something to be manipulated."

He's talking about The O'Reilly Factor, yet if this isn't a classic case of projection, what is? Everything he claims others are doing is exactly what we see at places like ABC or the LA Times.
