Wednesday, January 21, 2004 Thought for the day Thought is Joy -- what God has, and what we may share in. Yet, in a world that celebrates animal sensation and emotion, thought is suspect and feared. Yet, there is such a deep, abiding joy in guiding a child carefully, thoughtfully; in being alert and considerate in every relationship; in the practice of wisdom and understanding. Everyone requires moments of thoughtless pleasure, relaxed manners, and delight, but that is for refreshment, and vacation, not so much from thought as from worry and care.
