Wednesday, December 24, 2003 California Earthquake We had a 6.5 earthquake yesterday with two fatalities. (I never felt thing where I live.) 6.5 is a very strong tremor. In many parts of the world, it would have caused thousands, if not tens of thousands, of deaths. I am very thankful for our building codes.
