Thursday, August 01, 2002 Ideology vs. Faith One of the great problems now with Christianity in the West is that unbelievers often encounter it as a gruesome ideology rather than as a beautiful way of life; and they see too many people who often adopt the ideology, but not the way of life. And what they hear coming out of the Church is ideology, not revelation, and not a beautiful invitation to faith, beauty, and love. Someone once said that God leads people into the Church in ways the Church does not approve of, which is pretty much true in my case.
