There is so much that is extraordinarily beautiful in RC Christianity that it is small wonder that its members are loyal; but it's a bit like having the Louvre run by fascists. You want to see the Mona Lisa and other treasures frequently but you have to weather nasty curators, docents, and guards. (And it's a bit like congressmen.
