Monday, May 30, 2005 Feeling bad until somebody does something worse My wife was leaf blowing the roof and cleaning out the gutters Sunday when she apparently killed a nesting robin. The bird was nesting in one of our camellia bushes and flew out to defend her/his nest. The excitement and stress must have killed it because she found it on the ground dead for no obvious reason. My wife felt terrible about it. We found a small blue egg in the nest. What to do? Nothing. But then I came across this story on the web. It beats what happened to my wife by a longshot: posted by Mark Butterworth | 10:14 PM | |
