Saturday, December 04, 2004 Speaking of Romans So, Bush wants to create Tax Farmers like the Romans had. For 25%, private tax collectors can go to work on us. This is a very bad idea. Why? It creates a new lobby of businessmen who have a stake in the Income Tax code who would fight against a Flat Tax or a National Sales Tax which would make our lives so much better (in some respects).
