Monday, November 01, 2004 Taking a Position My predictions. Bush wins the popular vote by 5-7%. Bush carries 40 states. Kerry reluctantly concedes but not Tuesday night. He looks for ways to challenge the vote count in about 5 states, but cooler heads prevail, and he at last concedes. There will be dozens and dozens of "incidents" at polling places by Dem operatives.
